How do I pay my NI class 2?

There are two types of National Insurance Contributions for self employed people. 
 
Class 2 NICs are paid via direct debit (If your annual earnings exceed £5,725 you will have to pay £2.70 per week).
 
Class 4 NICs are paid with your annual tax return (If your annual earnings exceed £7,755 you will have to pay 9% of income after £7,755).
